We offer a ‘try before you buy’, free trial lesson; an opportunity for you to get to know your tutor, to ask questions and to settle in before embarking on lessons with Side By Side Arts.
Side by Side Arts currently offers piano, guitar, violin and singing lessons from our music studio in St Chad’s Community Centre in Gateshead AND online via Zoom; meaning you can come to our vibrant, welcoming studio or thanks to technology, we can come to you, anywhere in the world!
Our tutors deliver high-quality tuition and are accomplished musicians in their own right. Teaching adults and children music is their passion and that’s why we cherry-picked them to work with us at Side By Side Arts.
Group lessons - £14
Pre-school lessons - £18.50
These are a great introduction to the fundamentals of music and a great pathway into piano lessons for children aged 3 years and over. During each 1:1 half-hour, the student will take part in fun music-based activities and games, learn how to play simple duets and complete a maths-based activity. Want to give your child a head start in with their education? Well, this is a perfect way to do so!
1:1 lessons - £18.50
These lessons are reserved for advanced students or people who can attend lessons during school hours.
Music lessons with a social purpose
Side By Side Arts is a community interest company; our aim is to provide performing arts opportunities to people who would not normally have the chance to take part. Every music lesson, you book with Side By Side Arts, directly supports our Gateshead based community project work and scholarship programme.
